I am having difficulty uploading my CV – what do I do?

How quickly will my application be responded to?

We endeavour to respond to all applications within five working days. During this time your application will have been passed to the appropriate Line Manager for review. We then aim to contact you within the next 15 working days to update you on the status of your application.

When do you recruit graduates?

We look to recruit Graduates each year between the months of September and June i.e. the academic year. You can apply for any of our graduate vacancies at www.balfourbeatty.com/graduates

Can I apply outside of these dates?

Yes. Although we cannot guarantee a position still being available, we are always happy to receive applications outside of the above dates and discuss opportunities with you. I graduated more than a year ago – can I still apply?

Yes. Although the majority of our applicants are final year Undergraduates or have only recently graduated, we welcome any Graduates who have the focus and drive to join BBIS and our development scheme.

What happens if my application is successful?

If your application is selected, you will be invited to one of our Graduate Open Days. During this day you will meet the Recruitment team as well as key managers from around the business. You will undertake a McQuaig Word Survey (personality assessment) and an aptitude test followed by an interview with two managers from the business, your proposed Line Manager and another from the business.

Based on your performance that day, you may be invited back for a second-stage interview.
