Balfour Beatty Sponsors Local Schools Football Association

Balfour Beatty Infrastructure Services, the highways maintenance business of Balfour Beatty plc which maintains the highways in East and Mid Essex is delighted to sponsor the Witham and District Primary Schools Football Association.
On Monday 9 June an awards ceremony took place at Howbridge School, Witham, Essex, where the three league winners were presented with their trophies and a brand new football kit. In addition all league teams were given sport shop vouchers to the value of £15 each.
David Pearce, Director of Balfour Beatty Infrastructure Services, said:
"One of Essex County Council's nine pledges is to help young people to fulfil their sporting potential. We are committed to this most important initiative and see our sposnorship as an opportunity to help the local community."
Damon Howlett, Deputy Headteacher of Howbridge CofE (VC) Junior School said:
"Having sponsorship from Balfour Beatty Infrastructure Services has improved the league no end, and with the added attraction of winning a new kit for their school, there was a real competitive edge to all of the matches. The donated silverware has certainly brightened up a few trophy cabinets in the local area and the children were so excited to lift brand new cups at the awards ceremony."
