Schemes Engineer [B1208]

The Schemes Engineer will report to the Area Schemes Engineer and assist in the delivery of Managing Agent Contract (MAC) schemes generally less than £500,000 in construction value, within programme, to budget and quality. Schemes to be constructed are designed to provide improvements to the roads and structures assets and within current standards under various portfolios. Other duties will include:

• Taking responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of MAC schemes including past, current and future schemes.
• Providing support and assistance to design and procurement teams by early contractor involvement as the schemes develop.
• Chairing any meetings necessary for the implementation and running of schemes.
• Collating and providing information for the monthly reporting.

Suitable candidates should hold relevant vocations qualifications (HND or similar in Civil Engineering) and knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety legislation. Candidates will also have suitable and relevant site construction and safety management experience.
